DigiCell at EURO PM2025

The European Powder Metallurgy Congress (EURO PM) is organized annually by the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) and brings together the international PM community, including suppliers, producers, and end-users from all sectors to discover the latest innovations in the state-of-the-art Powder Metallurgy technology.

EURO PM2025 took place on 14-17 September 2025 in Glasgow, UK. DigiCell partner IRES attended the congress with Dimitris Kanakis giving a presentation entitled “Ultrafast Powder Qualification A Segmentation and Rapid Characterization Analysis Tool Using Image Processing of Metal Powder”. The presentation focused on the software IRES is developing in DigiCell: the SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) Tool. This is a tool for a rapid and robust powder characterization utilized not only in the frame of DigiCell but also producing synergies with two other EU funded projects: imPURE and nanoMECommons.
